EXPECTATIONS: It's a British horror film set in Spain and there are some kind of Cannes Film Festival looking logos on the cover. Could this be a classy horror indy horror film?REALITY: This is pretty dull stuff. Some British lasses are having a girly holiday when they meet some British lads at a bar. The lads have a boat, so the youf all head out into the water, get drunk and high, and flirt like crazy. One of the lads tells the gang about a sexual act called a 'donkey punch'. While a guy has sex with a girl doggy style, just before he comes, if he punches her on the back of the neck there is supposedly some kind of involuntary muscle spasm that feels great. Charming.
Anyhow, the gang all start having crazy sex with video cameras, and one lad decides to give the 'donkey punch' a go. His punch kills the lass he is having sex with, which begins a whole lot of "tense" moments and blaming. "We can't tell the police because bla, bla, bla", "That's not right", "Shut up", "I'll kill you", etc.
The film goes for far too long with unlikable characters and nothing happening, and then when things do start to happen I'm just hanging out for all of these morons to kill each other.
No surprises, the most likable character survives and everyone else dies. Boooring.
